Flexi Pop-ins is a London-wide nanny network comprised of fun, friendly, and experienced professionals from a variety of backgrounds.
Founded in 2016 by Melissa Clarke, Melissa has been looking after children in a variety of settings for over 15 years. And as our society continues toward a digital, and ‘service-led’ future, so she spotted a gap in the market for flexible ‘on-demand’ childcare.
Flexi Pop-ins aims to fill this childcare gap for the ‘uber’ generation!

Flexi Pop-ins Philosophy
At Flexi Pop-ins we understand the demands of the city, and we stand by the philosophy that parents and nannies should be working together, as a team, promoting the best outcome for your child’s health and well-being.
We will adapt to your parental style and are always happy to offer suggestions based on our extensive experience, working with children ranging from infants to adolescents. We aim to keep our prices fair whilst also promoting better paid services to our hard working professional nannies.
Our goal is to create and promote higher childcare standards for ALL children in London.
Flexi Pop-ins History
Melissa initially started out working single contracts with families in the Hackney and quickly gained a reputation in the local area. Parents from the creative industries started calling upon her to step in for childcare help during off-peak hours. Within 6 months, the project grew.
A community of experienced maternity nannies she knew from attending local Hackney playgroups had gotten in touch hoping to be a part of her personal, self employed, booking system. Word spread and parents from Islington, working in the Law and Medical industries, started getting in touch requesting extended bookings to meet their long working hours.
Before long, stay at home parents started using Flexi Pop-ins to offer themselves a break or attend appointments. We are now finding many parents from leading digital media companies taking a real interest in what we do as well as using our services. Flexi Pop-ins has now managed to extend its services into Canary Wharf, Greenwich and Putney and hopes to continue this expansion and provide services throughout the whole of London and beyond!
